Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver (Class E)

Penmac Staffing is hiring a reliable Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver (Class E) for a local client in the Eldon area. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, consistent local delivery routes, daily home time, and positive customer interaction.

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities

Receive and unload incoming shipments and inspect materials for accuracy or damage
Verify packing slips and maintain accurate inventory records
Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for outbound shipping
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Use RF scanners or inventory software to track materials
Organize stock, restock shelves, and assist with physical inventory counts
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

Assist with loading and preparing the delivery vehicle each morning
Drive a Sprinter van on regular routes; may drive a box truck 1–2 times per month
Deliver products to customer locations primarily in Eldon and surrounding areas
Interact with customers at each stop and obtain required signatures
Maintain accurate delivery records and operate vehicles safely
Return home daily with no overnight travel required

Requirements for the Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver

Previous warehouse experience preferred
Forklift experience required
Valid Class E driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (rare; most products are lighter)
Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and remain on feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check

Work Schedule and Pay

Full-time, temp-to-hire
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (some flexibility)
$18 per hour
