Customer Service Associate / Office Support

Location: Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.37 per hour
Job Summary
Penmac Staffing is hiring a Customer Service Associate / Office Support professional to provide excellent customer service while supporting daily office operations. This role involves assisting individuals with updating account information, setting up payment plans, and managing inbound and outbound communications via phone and email. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with updating and maintaining accurate account information
• Establish and manage individualized payment plans following company guidelines
• Handle inbound and outbound phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Respond to customer inquiries and conduct follow-ups through email correspondence
• Clearly explain account details, balances, and available payment options
• Accurately document all customer interactions in internal systems
• Resolve customer concerns while maintaining a positive customer experience
• Provide general administrative and office support as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service or office support experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with phone-based customer interactions
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
