
Penmac Staffing is now accepting application for a manufacturing plant in Ava, MO.
These are for 2nd (3:30 pm to midnight) and 3rd shift (11:30 pm to 8:00 am). Starting pay is $17.50 /hr
Job Description
•Produce machined parts by programming, setting-up and operating a Computer
Numerical Control (CNC) machine
•Maintain quality & safety standards
•Maintain equipment & supplies
•Verify settings by measuring positions and first-run parts
•Keep records
•Communicate with fellow team members
Physical Requirements
•Standing or walking short distances constantly (at least eight hours).
•Lifting 5-12 pound parts from thigh height to waist height occasionally (33% of the time).
•Lifting 5-12 pound parts from waist height to chest height frequently (50-75% of the time).
•Bending to the ground or stooping occasionally (33% of the time).
•Lifting 50-60 pound boxes of parts with help rarely (15% or less of the time).
•Machine cycle times vary from one to three minutes with load and unload duties necessary at the end of cycle times. Operators are typically responsible for a minimum of two machines.
•Operators process approximately two to three hundred parts per shift.
All applicants must be available to work overtime on the weekends.
