CDLA - Flatbed Driver

Penmac Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Flatbed CDLA Driver for a local metal company in Springfield, MO. This is a home‑daily driving job with flexible hours. $0.58 CPM

Requirements for the Flatbed CDL A Driver

Valid CDL - A
At least two year’s of verifiable CDL driving experience
Flatbed hauling and tarping experience
Ability to operate a manual transmission
Good motor vehicle report and criminal background check
Current DOT medical card
Forklift experience preferred

Flatbed CDL A Driver Responsibilities

Operate a manual transmission flatbed truck on local routes
Haul metal materials to recycling facilities and customer locations
Pick up outbound loads and return to the Springfield terminal
Secure loads using tarps, straps, and chains
Perform some loading and unloading tasks as needed
Operate a forklift when required

Pay and Schedule

$0.58 CPM for occasional regional routes
Home daily, including when regional miles are assigned
Flexible hours with primarily local driving
