Pay Rate
$26.00 to $32.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday

6:00AM – 2:30PM

Pump Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
• Assembling pump equipment to customer, OEM and industry standard specifications

• Disassembling equipment to gain access remove, clean and inspect components

• Inspecting & recording component measurements using instruments, tools and gages and providing inspection report

• Investigating and determining root cause failure

• Determining proper materials for repairs

• Contouring impellers and pump casings to meet hydraulic requirements

• Setting and operating dynamic balancing equipment

• Performing final testing and inspections

Pump Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
• Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail

• Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team

• Extensive knowledge of and ability to use hand tools, precision measuring and testing equipment and machine shop equipment

• Minimum five (5) years of repair/mechanic experience

• Ability to work with limited supervision

• Problem solving skills

• Must be able to pass pre-employment screen (background and drug test)
