Location: Del Mar, CA (onsite - Del Mar Fairgrounds)

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, full 8-hour shifts

Start: Immediate openings for the upcoming fair season

Job Type: Full-time | Temporary / Seasonal

Pay Frequency: Weekly pay

About the Role

ShareSTAFF is hiring Event Setup Crew Members to support operations at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, home of the San Diego County Fair. You’ll help assemble and tear down exhibits, keep the grounds clean, and create a welcoming experience for guests. No prior fairground experience is needed - just a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

What You’ll Do

Set up, maintain, and tear down fair exhibits, displays, and event infrastructure
Perform manual labor including lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment
Keep assigned areas clean and presentable throughout the fairgrounds
Greet guests and assist with general questions and directions
Work with your team to keep daily operations running smoothly during busy event periods

What You Bring - Required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for full 8-hour shifts
Available for full day shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic English communication skills (speaking and understanding)
Reliable, team-oriented, and ready to work with a positive attitude

What You Bring - Preferred

Previous experience in event setup, general labor, or grounds maintenance
Experience working at fairs, festivals, trade shows, or large public venues
