Production Planner
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Pay/Salary Range: $30 to $35 per hour
Temp to Hire, Onsite
Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

What You’ll Do
- Build, track, and adjust production schedules to keep output aligned with demand.
- Review open sales orders and related documents to confirm requirements, priorities, and staffing or material needs.
- Coordinate material flow so orders are ready when production needs them.
- Release work orders for manufacturing and sub-assembly activity based on the approved plan.
- Partner with supervisors and cross-functional teams to review build progress and resolve schedule risks.
- Communicate changes, impacts, and constraints clearly to internal teams, including customer service and sales.
- Support level loading efforts across manufacturing areas to help balance capacity and demand.
- Help monitor inventory levels, cycle counts, and material availability to support planning accuracy.
- Use ERP tools, including NetSuite, to maintain schedules, support forecasting, and resolve basic system issues.
- Contribute to lean and KPI improvement efforts tied to safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring:
- 2 to 3 years of planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems; Epicor is preferred, and NetSuite exposure is helpful.
- A solid grasp of planning methods such as forecasting, safety stock, replenishment, inventory optimization, lead time reduction, and Kanban.
- Working knowledge of Lean practices and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 quality system requirements.
- Clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to stay calm when priorities shift.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a strong track record of equivalent, relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
