Pipe Welder

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Pipe Welders proficient in both TIG (GTAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding processes for pipe and structural applications. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in producing high-quality welds on a variety of materials, with the ability to work from blueprints and meet strict industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG and Stick welding on pipe and structural components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld procedures
Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and fitting as needed
Execute welds that meet quality standards and pass visual and/or X-ray inspection when required
Maintain proper welding techniques to ensure structural integrity and code compliance
Inspect completed welds and make necessary repairs or adjustments
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Collaborate with fitters and other trades to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Pipe Welder using TIG (GTAW) and Stick (SMAW) processes
Ability to weld on various materials (including carbon steel and stainless steel)
Strong understanding of welding symbols, procedures, and industry standards
Ability to pass welding certification tests as required
Skilled in both pipe welding and structural welding applications
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or on a team

Preferred:

Current welding certifications (e.g., AWS or equivalent)
Experience in industrial, commercial, or marine/shipyard environments
Familiarity with code welding (ASME, AWS, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00- $34.00 Per hour”
