About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused Customer Service Representative to support our custom label operations. In this role, you will coordinate label orders from start to finish, ensuring seamless communication between customers, sales teams, and production.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Order Management

  • Review customer purchase orders for accuracy in label specifications, including size, materials, colors, quantities, packaging, and delivery requirements.
  • Resolve discrepancies and clarify specifications with customers as needed.
  • Enter accurate order details into the company’s computerized order system.

Order Coordination & Production Support

  • Review Sales Orders and provide timely updates and details to production teams.
  • Perform daily reviews of the Open Order Report to track progress and ensure timely order flow.
  • Communicate closely with production supervisors across departments to expedite orders as needed.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main liaison between the customer and the sales team.
  • Provide pricing information to customers and keep the corresponding salesperson informed of customer activity or issues.
  • Build strong, service‑oriented relationships with customers.

Quality & Issue Resolution

  • Enter Quality Defect Reports and communicate complaints or concerns to the sales team.
  • Coordinate credit memos or billing adjustments with the Accounting Department when required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree (AA) from a two‑year college or technical school, or
  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience/training, or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong reading comprehension skills, including the ability to interpret detailed written instructions.
  • Clear written communication skills for preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Confidence in presenting information to customers, sales teams, and internal staff.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, and instructions.
  • Competence in basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
  • Strong analytical skills, including problem identification, fact gathering, and logical decision‑making.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based at a modular workstation.
  • Occasional movement through the production plant, with exposure to ink vapors.
  • Noise levels may vary from quiet to loud depending on the location within the facility.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer workstation.
  • Regular movement throughout the office and plant.
  • Manual handling of paperwork and use of hands and arms for reaching tasks.
  • Clear verbal communication and active listening are required.
  • Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
