Fuze HR is proud to partner with a local manufacturing company in Frederick, CO staffing for Injection Molding Technician on 3rd Shift, payrate based on experience $25-$35/hr. Company located approximately 10mins off the I-25 Firestone Exit.

About the Role

The Injection Molding Set-Up Technician is responsible for setting up and optimizing injection molding machines to ensure efficient, high-quality production. The role requires a hands-on problem solver with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for continuous improvement. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to meet customer requirements while maintaining safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and start injection molding machines, including automation and auxiliary equipment (e.g., degators).
Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing parts that meet specifications.
Document, maintain, and update molding process parameters.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support and guidance to machine operators and junior technicians.
Follow all safety procedures during mold installation and machine setup.
Monitor production to ensure compliance with work instructions and quality standards.
Participate in shift handoff meetings and communicate priorities and updates.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Tooling teams to improve processes and efficiency.
Support team members as needed to maintain smooth production flow.

Qualifications

Experience in injection molding manufacturing strongly preferred.
Willingness to learn both metal and plastic injection molding processes.
Ability to set up molding machines and auxiliary equipment (or willingness to learn).
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills: ERP system experience and SPC knowledge are a plus.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and professionalism.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
Shift: Sun-Thur 3rd Shift-11pm-7am ( $1.50 shift differential)
Training Required on 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
