CNC Operator-Longmont, CO $18.50-$21/hr

Fuze HR is proud to partner with a local manufacturing company in Frederick, CO staffing for CNC Operators on 3rd Shift, payrate based on experience $18.50-$21/hr. Company located approximately 10mins off the I-25 Firestone Exit.

About the Role

The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC milling machines, performing basic setups, and ensuring that parts meet quality and production standards. This position requires the ability to follow instructions accurately, make minor offset adjustments, troubleshoot basic issues, and assist with Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Key Responsibilities

Independently operate CNC mills to produce high-quality parts.
Inspect parts to verify compliance with specifications, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Perform basic machine setups and make necessary offset adjustments.
Read and interpret simple blueprints to guide machining operations.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of tooling types and their applications.
Consistently meet or exceed daily production goals while maintaining low scrap rates.
Train new operators on basic machining tasks and procedures.
Use measuring tools and equipment with proficiency to ensure part accuracy.
Assist with SPC duties and data collection as required.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
Proven ability to independently run CNC equipment and inspect finished parts.
Experience working in a manufacturing or machining environment.
Solid understanding of shop safety protocols and quality standards.
Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
Shift: Sun-Thur 3rd Shift-11pm-7am ( $1.50 shift differential)
Training Required on 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
