
IT Project Coordinator Job Summary
Under supervision of the Managing Fellow of UX, this position supports Enterprise Information Technology to coordinate various technology and UX related projects. Orchestrates the administrative and tracking activities for the project lifecycle (initiate, design, usability test, sign off, develop, QA test, release, hypercare ), assembles reports, drafts follow up activities, meeting notes, and communicates timely updates. Must be familiar with the full life cycle of web and app-based experience design and development to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
IT Project Coordinator Job Responsibilities
• Coordinates activities across UX squads to plan, design and deliver iterative enhancements and new features. under supervision and collaborating across disciplines.
• Supports documentation and development of squad planning, backlogs, roadmaps, and analytics to execute the full spectrum of UX activities.
• Tracks the status of multiple actions across teams and proactively encourages timely resolution to ensure projects are not delayed.
• Ensures the integration of sound project management principles and practices into all communication.
• Supports Product Managers, Tech Leads, Designers, and Researchers to ensure project objectives regarding accessibility, usability, readability, automation, and analytics are met by collaborating with experts across the team.
• Coordinates with budget and finance teams to forecast, analyze and track squad budgets.
• Effectively communicates issues and recommendations for strategies and tactics.
• Interfaces with appropriate management levels including senior management to gain necessary approvals and supports team members in managing project risk and timelines.
• Reviews and monitors continuous improvement and documentation activities to assist in onboarding UX and Dev personnel.
• Coordinates project teams’ activities in conjunction with the cross-squad operational needs.
• Performs analysis of project data; generates reports and data.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
IT Project Coordinator Minimum Qualifications
• Possesses and applies basic knowledge of Project or Product Management methodologies, practices and procedures and follows up with partners to ensure projects are efficiently progressing.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks with minimum supervision
• Applies judgment and makes recommendations and/or decisions that may affect the section, department and/or division
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication.
IT Project Coordinator Ideal Qualifications
• Advanced degree in Design or Human Computer Interaction
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple UX teams to deliver experiences that meet existing standards and guidelines.
