Staffing Coordinator
Overview
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the efficient execution of daily staffing operations. This role supports both administrative and safety-related functions within the facility, playing a key part in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing employee check-ins, processing time punch adjustment sheets, and delivering timely updates to the client regarding operational matters. The Staffing Coordinator also handles injury reports, conducts accident investigations, and serves as a liaison with the Safety department. Additional duties involve managing shift pass-downs and supporting workforce coordination to meet client needs effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage client relations and oversee daily operations of the staffing program to ensure service excellence.
- Conduct shift check-ins for temporary employees to ensure timely attendance and deployment.
- Collaborate with client management to review schedules and confirm appropriate staffing levels.
- Address temporary employee shortages or overages promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
- Issue corrective action notices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Support training efforts for temporary employees, ensuring compliance and preparedness.
- Complete injury reports, investigate accidents, and communicate findings to the Safety department.
- Facilitate smooth shift transitions by managing shift pass downs and relevant communications.
- Collect and maintain accurate records of time punch adjustment sheets.
- Provide daily shift updates to the client, including staffing changes, absences, training activities, safety recognition, and reports on incidents, injuries, or near-misses.
- Make confirmation calls to employees scheduled for upcoming shifts.
- Provide recruiting recaps as needed; however, recruiting is not the primary focus of this role.
- Manage key fobs—request, distribute, and collect as necessary.
- Track and process temporary worker requests for time off.
- Monitor and manage performance and attendance of temporary employees on-site, addressing any performance concerns, providing feedback, and administering disciplinary actions when required.
- Maintain up-to-date records of employee data, client communications, and assignment details.
- Serve as a liaison between the client, temporary employees, and the staffing agency—ensuring clear communication regarding job assignments, schedule changes, and relevant updates.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Ability to efficiently manage people and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidate must possess and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- 1- 2 years of staffing experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment is a plus.
