Seeking socially confident retail associate for a high-end pet store to assist customers with purchasing decisions, process transactions, and maintain a clean and visually appealing sales floor. To be successful as a retail associate you should have an outgoing personality and enjoy interacting with customers and their pets. Ultimately, an exceptional retail associate should be able to provide customers with seamless, positive shopping experiences.

Starting Pay: $22 - $25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Greet customers and offer exceptional service
• Answer customer questions and concerns
• Provide customers with detailed product information and recommendations
• Advise customers about member benefits, promotions, and sales
• Total purchases and process cash, check, credit card payments
• Process exchanges, returns, refunds according to company policies
• Maintain clean and organized retail environment
• Assist with stock management
• Arrange merchandise on shelves and displays
Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Physical requirements: lift 25-50 lbs, stand for extended periods of time
