Integrated Staffing is currently seeking a Lead Supervisor / Labour Crew Lead for a post construction cleaning project in Miramichi, NB. This is a 3-month contract position and is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who is reliable, safety conscious, and comfortable directing a small crew while working alongside them to complete project deliverables.

This position involves overseeing a labour team and ensuring all assigned tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, while taking direction from the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a small labour crew on site during post construction cleaning activities
Receive direction from the Project Manager and delegate daily tasks to crew members
Participate in hands on cleaning and site preparation work as required
Remove and dispose of unused construction materials and debris from the site
Perform sweeping, mopping, and general interior cleaning of large facility spaces
Complete exterior clean-up and general site beautification tasks
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site expectations
Monitor crew performance, productivity, and adherence to instructions
Support a safe and organized work environment at all times
Report progress and any issues to the Project Manager

Requirements

Previous experience in construction, general labour, or cleaning environments considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to lead or support a team in a hands-on setting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions and ensure team compliance with direction
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour tasks
Steel-toe safety boots required (mandatory)
Reliable transportation to and from site

Working Conditions

On-site construction environment (post-construction clean-up)
Physical work including lifting, bending, sweeping, and repetitive tasks
Outdoor and indoor work required in varying conditions
Fast-paced project environment with deadlines

What We Offer

Pay: $20.00 per hour (depending on experience) + 4% vacation pay
Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly pay through Integrated Staffing
