Automation Personnel Services is seeking Second Shift Machine Operator Helpers for a manufacturing facility in Ball Ground, Georgia. This position includes assisting with machine operations, inspecting and packaging products, and helping keep production running efficiently. Pay Rate
$17.50 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Second Shift Machine Operators Helper Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist machine operators with daily production tasks and setups.
• Perform visual inspections and use measuring tools like calipers to verify product quality.
• Complete required quality checks, labeling, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organize and maintain inventory of packaging materials.
• Store finished goods in designated areas to support workplace organization.
• Help with die changeovers and perform on-line die cleaning when needed.
• Report equipment issues and assist in submitting maintenance work orders.
• Keep the work area clean and safe by following housekeeping and safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Second Shift Machine Operator Helpers Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of material handling, machine operating, extrusion technician, or similar experience is required.
• Experience using measuring tools including tape measures or calipers.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and computer skills.
• Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Drug screening and background check are required
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required.
