Mastercam CNC Programmer and Operator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking skilled Mastercam CNC Programmer and Operators to join a leading aerospace company in Kennesaw, GA specializing in the manufacturing of military vehicles. Pay Rate
Starting at $32.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:00pm
* Enjoy a three-day weekend every week with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off!*
Mastercam CNC Programmer and Operators Duties and Responsibilities
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T specifications to plan machining processes.
• Program CNC mills using MasterCAM software, including entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation, and verifying part programs.
• Set up and adjust equipment, including chucks, tools, attachments, and indexing vices.
• Inspect work by measuring positions, first-run parts, and samples to meet quality standards.
• Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
• Document production and quality information in logs and communicate with team members across shifts.
• Ensure safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Additional job duties as assigned by management
Mastercam CNC Programmer and Operators Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines/mills is required.
• Experience using MasterCAM software for programming is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T), basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and document production/quality logs accurately.
• Strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures in a machining environment.
• Drug screening and background check are required.
