Structural Fitter

Structural Fitter Pay Rate and Hours:

Pay: $18.00/hr.+ Depending on experience
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Structural Fitter Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Fitter to join our team. This role involves using flame-cutting and hand-welding equipment to join, repair, or fabricate metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fitting and welding, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Structural Fitter Basic Requirements:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Fit and assemble metal components and structures using hand and power tools.
Align parts to ensure proper fit and function before securing them in place.
Perform layout work using measuring tools such as calipers, squares, and levels.
Operate fabrication equipment such as drills, grinders, and saws.
Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards.
Assist with the maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical systems.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
