Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech)
Location: On-site – Pittsburgh, PA 15213 (Oakland Area) - This role requires you to work at this designated workplace location.

Schedule: Full-Time Rotating Shifts (Weekends/Holidays Required)
New Hire Starting Pay: Up to $22.45/hour (Based on experience)
After-Hire Earning Potential: Your compensation grows as you do. The Company offers incremental, performance-based pay increases tied to job experience and technical proficiency. While initial offers are based on current experience, successful team members have the opportunity to reach an earning ceiling of $30.00 per hour through the internal advancement structure.

Core Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Assist RNs with procedures and activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, feeding, and positioning.
- Clinical Monitoring: Perform core nursing assistant tasks: vitals, blood glucose, weights, I&O, and specimen collection.
- Advanced Clinical Tasks: Maintain competency in at least four advanced skills, such as phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG, Foley catheter removal, or IV catheter removal.
- Safety & Communication: Report changes in patient status to the RN immediately and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Patient Education: Provide basic instruction to patients and families under clinical direction.
- Administrative Support: Assist with unit activities, including responding to call lights, transporting patients and medical record documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Nursing Assistant/CNA with the ability to achieve PCT competency within 120 days.
- Current enrollment in a PT/OT/PA or related healthcare training program (with at least one clinical rotation completed).
- Preferred: Current EMT or Paramedic certification (or current enrollment in a program).
