Status: Full-Time/Permanent - Direct Hire as an employee of the Company with access to full benefits
New Hire Starting Pay: Up to $26.00/hour (Based on experience)
After-Hire Earning Potential: Your compensation grows as you do. The Company offers incremental, performance-based pay increases tied to job experience and technical proficiency. While initial offers are based on current experience, successful team members have the opportunity to reach an earning ceiling of $37.00 per hour through the internal advancement structure.
About the Opportunity
Creative and Expressive Arts Therapies (CEAT) department with a legacy of excellence is looking for a CEAT to join our multidisciplinary team consisting of dedicated specialists across Art, Dance/Movement, Music, Recreation, and Yoga therapies.
As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will provide essential inpatient interventions, leading both on-unit sessions and collaborative hospital-wide initiatives. We pride ourselves on a culture of clinical excellence and a deep-rooted commitment to patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care Delivery
- Facilitate high-quality individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based CEAT modalities.
- Conduct clinical assessments and maintain precise documentation of treatment notes and progress.
- Ensure all therapeutic activities adhere to hospital quality, safety, and supply management standards.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Support specialty training and orientation for new CEAT staff.
- Supervise therapy students under the guidance of the Program Coordinator.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain seamless communication with unit staff and the broader CEAT department.
Professional Development
- Stay current with emerging technology and best practices in behavioral healthcare.
- Maintain all required board certifications, licensures, and continuing education units (CEUs).
- Participate in 1–3 specialized clinical trainings annually.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a CEAT discipline with at least one year of experience providing group/individual therapy.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a CEAT modality.
- Note: Completed graduate internship hours are recognized as valid experience for this role.
Certification Candidates must hold the minimum national credentialing for their respective discipline:
- Art Therapy: ATR-BC
- Dance/Movement Therapy: R-DMT
- Drama Therapy: RDT
- Music Therapy: MT-BC
- Recreation Therapy: CTRS
- Yoga Therapy: C-IAYT
