Production Line Lead

Position: Manufacturing Line Lead
Location: Grove City, OH
Pay Rate: $25–$32 per hour
Shifts: Multiple shifts available

A leading U.S.-based manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Line Lead to support high-speed glove production operations at its state-of-the-art facility in Grove City, Ohio. This position is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and leadership experience who are looking for a clear path to advancement into a Supervisor role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a high-speed production line, overseeing workflow, output, and personnel
Supervise, train, and coach 8–10 production team members per shift
Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues to minimize downtime
Ensure daily production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and GMP-compliant work environment
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for equipment support
Monitor inventory and materials; ensure SOPs and documentation are current
Approve timecards, manage overtime, and assist with shift planning

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with leadership responsibilities
Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills
Experience with automated equipment or production machinery preferred
Effective communication and organizational abilities
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and remain on your feet for 12-hour shifts
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or some college coursework preferred
Willingness to work off-shifts, weekends, and rotating schedules as needed

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in a Line Lead, Team Lead, or Shift Supervisor role
Exposure to lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and quality/safety standards in a regulated manufacturing environment
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering and maintenance
