Location: Valencia, PA
Pay: $21 Hrly

Commercial Employees is hiring several Production Associate positions to join a busy paint and steel processing facility in Valencia. This company works with steel coils used in construction, transportation, and metal products.

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE DUTIES:

Prepare raw materials for productions runs and verify materials match with the customer order requirements and production schedule. Connect raw material (metal) through a stitching process.
Visually inspect coils to identify defects (marks, dents, scratches, etc.) in raw materials and finished product
Package coils to customer requirements (paper, cardboard, shrink wrap, etc.). This may include driving a forklift or helping the forklift driver.
Ensure that finished goods are properly and safely stacked both on the forklift and in the warehouse.

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, it is necessary to understand basic measurement and mathematics when using a calculator, and a comfort level with computers as some data entry or data lookup is required.
High School or equivalent
Forklift Experience preferred but not required
Exposure to production environment preferred.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
