Medical Receptionist RM

Job Description:

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist RM.

Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

This is a full-time/TEMPORARY (approximately 6-8 weeks) position requiring availability between the hours of 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM + (one weekend during cycling week as needed) in Virginia Beach, VA 23452

Responsibilities :

Answering phones/sending messages to the appropriate team members from patients

Checking in and collecting payments from patients

Completing medical records requests and assisting PCC with assignment of MMRs to patients as needed to complete MMR requests for outside records

Registration of spouses/partners within our scheduling/billing platform as needed (Athena)

Updating and scanning insurance information/demographics/IDs

Ensuring that all New Patients have completed their consents before the visit

Assigning annual consent bundles to patients who require updated consents that have or will expire

Confirming New Patient Visits for the upcoming week

Keeping the coffee/tea bar stocked/maintaining the lobby area

Contacting appropriate leaders when vendors come to the facility for repairs/maintenance

Requirements for the Medical Receptionist :

Required: At least 2 years of experience as a Medical/Front Desk receptionist working in a Medical office setting.
Required: Impeccable patient-centered customer service
Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
Required: Must be reliable, a quick learner, and able to work with accuracy in a busy environment
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
