Job Summary
As a MIG FLUX Welder, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, using your specialized welding expertise to contribute to the production of our industry-leading products. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in ensuring the integrity and safety of our finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding using flux-cored wire to join metal components
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and consistent welding
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including power sources, wire feeders, and shielding gas supplies
- Inspect and test welds to identify and correct any defects or issues
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize welding processes and improve efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a MIG or flux-cored wire welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficient in reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications
- Certified in MIG welding and familiar with relevant welding codes and standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions
This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, heat, and other physical demands associated with welding operations. A flexible schedule, including the potential for overtime, may be required to meet production needs.
