Catchcord Operator Rotating Shift

Phillips Staffing is looking for energic, detailed oriented, and creative individuals to join a dynamic team at a leading textile, chemical, and floor covering solutions manufacturer in the Upstate. The Catchcord Operator will be primarily responsible for picking up waste from looms, baling the waste, and completing a daily audit of safety items.

Responsibilities:

Complete daily team maintenance activities
Audit Safety Items in department
Pick up catchcord waste from all looms that are running on production floor.
Pick up nylon and polyester waste from the production floor.
Pick up filling tubes.
Bale catchcord waste, nylon and polyester as well as empty tubes.

Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year manufacturing exp
Ability to read, write, follow directions and comprehend written and verbal instructions
Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Good communication skills and strong discipline
Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted

Shift Schedule: 12 hour Rotating Shift

Pay: $16.34
