Requirements of position
We are looking for experienced Slitter Operators to join our skilled team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience operating slitter machines, strong measuring skills, and the ability to read blueprints in a fast-paced production environment. Requirements Experience operating a slitter machine required Must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints accurately High School Diploma or GED required Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Must be reliable and open to overtime Steel-toe boots, jeans, and hard hat required Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities of position
· Set up and operate slitter machines to cut materials according to specifications · Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed · Inspect finished materials to ensure quality and accuracy · Use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify dimensions · Read and interpret blueprints and work orders · Complete daily production reports and quality checks · Adhere to company safety procedures and wear proper PPE
