Responsibilities of position





 
We are looking for a careful Electric Pallet Jack operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a electric pallet jack with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities.
 
You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  1. Operate Electric Pallet Jacks: Safely maneuver electric pallet jacks to transport products to designated locations within the warehouse.
  2. Order Picking: Assist in picking orders from storage areas, ensuring accuracy in selecting the correct items as per order sheets.
  3. Loading and Unloading: Help load and unload items from delivery trucks, ensuring that products are handled safely to prevent damage.
  4. Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-checks on electric pallet jacks to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance needs to supervisors.
  5. Inventory Management: Participate in inventory control tasks, including counting items and ensuring proper storage of goods.
  6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment, reporting any incidents or accidents immediately.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
 
  1. Education: High school diploma or GED is typically required.
  2. Certification: Must be certified to operate electric pallet jacks or forklifts.
  3. Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, especially with electric pallet jacks.
