Civil Project Engineer

We're seeking a Civil Project Engineer with strong drafting and design skills to join a dynamic team tackling weather-related infrastructure improvement projects. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with immediate impact and long-term potential.

The Team You Will be Joining

This state agency is dedicated to improving and maintaining public infrastructure across Nevada. Their Betterments Program focuses on swift, effective responses to weather-related issues and ensures resilient community assets. Major Duties

Create detailed engineering plan sets using MicroStation
Prepare specifications, construction cost estimates, and service provider agreements
Conduct field work and collaborate closely with contractors
Process invoices and maintain accurate project documentation
Support the Betterments Program’s infrastructure improvement initiatives

What Are We Looking For?

Professional engineering experience with a focus on civil infrastructure
Proficiency with MicroStation and CATT tools
Experience drafting engineering plans and preparing construction documentation
Ability to work effectively with contractors and field teams
PE license -Required

Exciting Opportunity Details

Rate: $40.00/hour
Contract Type: 1-Year Temp-to-Perm

Target Start: ASAP or Early July 2025
Worksite Location: Las Vegas, NV (89118)
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
