Job Title: Production Control Specialist
Pay Range : DOE $20–$30 per hour
Job Summary
The Production Control Specialist is responsible for overseeing the flow of materials, schedules, and production processes to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. This role involves coordinating between departments, managing inventory, and ensuring that production targets and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
Coordinate material supply and inventory levels to prevent production delays
Work with production teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and material shortages
Maintain accurate records of production data, including materials used, production output, and quality metrics
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
Track and report on production performance metrics, such as efficiency and output
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to implement process improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (degree in manufacturing, business, or logistics is a plus)
Experience in production control, logistics, or supply chain management
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel
Ability to handle multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or ERP systems
Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry
Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials management
