Slitter Operator: Darien, Wisconsin

Our customer in Darien, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Slitter Operators to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Slitter Operator, you will be responsible for assisting in the setup, operation, and monitoring of slitting machines to ensure materials are accurately cut and rewound to meet production specifications, while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities of the Slitter Operator:

Assist in operate slitting machines to cut and rewind large rolls of paper, plastic, fabric, and other materials into narrower rolls
Assist set up machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality production
Monitor machines and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
Assist the material handling equipment and lift table, rolls will be placed on a long tubes to be packaged and then transported over to warehouse.

Slitter Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand written instructions
Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot slitting machines
Ability to use basic math and measurement tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time

Pay for Slitter Operator: Starting at $17/hour.
