Machine Operator Assistant: Darien, Wisconsin

Our customer in Darien, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Machine Operator Assistants to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Machine Operator Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the operator of slitting machines, helping to cut and rewind large rolls of paper, plastic, fabric, and other materials into narrower rolls.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator Assistant:

Assist in operating slitting machines to cut and rewind large rolls of paper, plastic, fabric, and other materials into narrower rolls
Assist in machine set up, helping to make necessary adjustments to ensure quality production
Monitor machines and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
Assist the material handling equipment and lift table, rolls will be placed on a long tubes to be packaged and then transported over to warehouse.

Machine Operator Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand written instructions
Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot slitting machines
Ability to use basic math and measurement tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time

Pay for Machine Operator Assistant: Starting at $17/hour.
