TDL Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily operations and upkeep of commercial and residential properties in Fairbanks.

This hands-on leadership role oversees maintenance technicians while managing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks across multiple trades—including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

The ideal candidate has strong supervisory skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Job Duties Include:

Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance projects and preventative programs
Train, support, and supervise maintenance personnel
Perform or oversee repairs and maintenance in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep
Install new equipment, appliances, fixtures, and modify existing systems
Inspect apartments to assess damages and determine maintenance needs
Assist with groundskeeping tasks such as snow removal and trash pickup as needed
Participate in on-call emergency coverage (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Ensure timely completion of work orders, change of occupancy (COM), and operations & maintenance (O&M) tasks
Maintain safe work practices and participate in safety programs
Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Alaska driver’s license with an insurable driving record
3+years of experience in facilities maintenance, building trades (carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, or auto mechanics preferred)
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
