Job Title: Senior Payroll Specialist
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Hybrid (2 days remote)

Job Description:

Join a leading organization as a Senior Payroll Specialist, where you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees with a strong emphasis on California labor law compliance. You will manage payroll systems, collaborate with HR and finance teams, and ensure accurate and timely compensation. Responsibilities:

Process payroll accurately and on time for a designated group of employees across multiple states
Maintain compliance with California and multi-state wage and hour laws, including break policies
Utilize ADP Enterprise V6 and ADP E-Time V8 for payroll and timekeeping functions
Respond to employee inquiries using the JIRA ticketing system, ensuring high-quality service
Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies related to timekeeping, payroll, and general ledger entries

Qualifications and Requirements:

5+ years of payroll experience with multi-state responsibility
Strong knowledge of California payroll laws and compliance standards
Proficient in ADP EV6 and ADP E-Time V8 systems
Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas)
College degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent training/experience
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice

The salary range for this position is $35-40 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final payrate will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
