Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating slitting machines to process feedstock materials. You will align shear or razor blades, make adjustments to machine settings, and ensure that products meet customer specifications. Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot machine performance is key. This is a hands-on role that requires both independent work and collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities:
- Install and align shear or razor blades for slitting feedstock materials
- Operate slitter machine, adjusting settings and monitoring operation
- Select, clean, and install spacers, lay-on bars, sleeves, and blades
- Measure dimensions of rolls for conformance to specifications
- Observe machine operation and examine rolls for defects
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1-3 years of relative experience in machine operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods

The base salary range for this position is $20/hour excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
