About the Role:

As a Physician Scheduler, you'll play a vital role in managing complex, dynamic schedules for a large team of physicians. You’ll need to think critically about matching doctors with facilities based on hours of availability and proper licensing, all while maintaining smooth communication with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and administer physician scheduling software
Match physicians to facilities based on licensing and availability
Coordinate with the Physician Services team on credentials and licensing
Manage vacation time, shift changes, and incentivized shifts
Communicate schedule updates and changes to physicians and internal teams
Generate reports and provide schedule transparency across departments
Assist with training and support on scheduling systems
Collaborate with operations and accounting to ensure smooth scheduling and accurate compensation

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous experience in healthcare or physician scheduling (2+ years)
Strong Attention to detail and analytical mindset
Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex scheduling puzzles
Comfort using spreadsheets (sorting, reporting, formulas)
Effective communication skills and professional etiquette
Adaptability and composure in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Entry-level experience of 2+ years in medical scheduling with scheduling software preferred.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred (or equivalent experience)

The base pay range for this position is $25.00 excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
