DOT Coordinator

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a DOT Coordinator for an environmental waste company located in Genoa, OH. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in transportation compliance as well as extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documents.
Effectively evaluate, monitor, analyze and identify all driver compliance and non-compliance issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
Responsible for helping manage internal and external compliance reporting, providing compliance advice and assistance, conducting compliance investigations, manage on-going education program..
Monitor and assist in enforcement of DOT FMCSA regulations to ensure compliance.
Responsible for conducting or assisting with all tasks associated with:
- Driver Qualifications
- Driver Training
- Driver Records

Required skills and qualifications

At least 2 years or more years in transportation compliance
Expertise and extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
Advanced computer skills with proficiency and working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Preferred skills and qualifications

Previous fleet management and tracking software experience

Pay: $20/hr- $22/hr
