General Laborer PT-PM

FurstStaffing has General Laborer opportunities at GENERAL MILLS, a highly regarded snacks manufacturing plant, in Belvidere.

As a part time worker, you choose to pick up available shift(s) when your personal schedule allows. You can work as much or as little as you want. There is no required number of days you must work other than working a minimum of one shift within each 4-week period.

The General Laborer is an essential production support role.

$18.00 per hour

Shifts are 12.5 hours which include three 30 minutes breaks, two of which are paid time.

Various General Laborer tasks include:

Hand packing product into boxes/cartons
Stacking boxes/cartons onto pallets
Hand feeding product onto the production line
Loading cups onto conveyor line
Box making and break down
Loading folded boxes from cage into baler
Visual inspection of various product and packaging material components
Line cleaning and sanitation

Job requirements for the Packer position include:

Ability to stand throughout shift and lift a up to 35 pounds
Ability to reach, bend, twist, and walk up and down stairs
