Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler – Forklift Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Brooklyn Park, MN. In this role, you will support production operations by transporting materials, operating powered industrial equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory transactions throughout the facility.
This position is ideal for candidates with forklift and warehouse experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in supporting efficient production and material movement operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate material handling equipment including counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, pickers, tuggers, and turret trucks
• Pick, kit, transport, and deliver materials to designated production and warehouse locations
• Complete material movement transactions using handheld scanners and computer systems
• Perform inventory audits, empty hoppers, and manage dunnage and material flow activities
• Maintain organized and clean work areas while following all safety procedures
• Identify, document, and communicate inventory discrepancies or process improvement opportunities
• Work collaboratively with team members while also performing tasks independently
• Follow all company safety standards and wear required PPE at all times
• Support additional warehouse and material handling tasks as assigned

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification or prior experience operating powered industrial equipment required
• Ability to read and follow standard work instructions
• Comfortable using handheld scanners and computer systems for inventory transactions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Dependable attendance and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Physical Requirements
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand and work for extended shifts
• Exposure to industrial noise levels above 85 dB and welding fumes
• Ability to work in changing temperatures and confined or awkward positions
• Frequent repetitive movements including grasping, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Ability to safely operate cranes, hoists, forklifts, and additional material handling equipment
• Regular use of hand tools including box cutters and band cutters
• Exposure to magnets that may interfere with medical devices

Required PPE:
Hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed/metatarsal footwear, bump cap, fall harness, and additional material handling safety equipment as required.
