Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Cabinet Installer to join a growing installation team in Maple Grove, MN. This role is responsible for performing high-quality cabinetry installations while ensuring efficiency, precision, and customer satisfaction throughout the installation process.

The ideal candidate has previous cabinetry installation experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently once project expectations and tasks are clearly defined. This position also supports cabinetry service work following installation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Cabinet Installation

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete installations accurately
• Install cabinets according to design plans using proper installation methods and techniques
• Safely operate hand and power tools throughout the installation process
• Ensure all installations meet company quality and craftsmanship standards

Worksite Preparation & Material Handling

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project
• Protect cabinets, floors, walls, and surrounding work areas from damage during installation
• Load, unload, and transport tools and materials as needed
• Assist with service work and cabinetry adjustments following installation

Communication & Customer Service

• Communicate professionally with clients, Sales Account Managers, and team members
• Address installation issues, adjustments, or modifications as needed
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, builders, and coworkers

Qualifications:

Required:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to safely operate a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently once tasks are assigned
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of basic math principles for measurements and installations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Preferred:
• Minimum of 2 years of cabinetry installation experience
• Experience installing custom cabinetry with frameless and face frame construction methods
• Frameless cabinetry experience highly desired

Working Conditions:

• Installation and construction environments with frequent standing and movement throughout the day
• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and material handling
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Use of hand and power tools throughout the shift
