Unloader Associate

 Job Summary: The Receiving Associate is responsible for unloading and unpacking incoming shipments.

 Required Skills/Abilities: 

o Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, such as inventory documents

o 1+ years’ experience within manufacturing, shipping, and/or receiving is preferred. 

o Must be detail oriented. Responsibilities:

o Loads and unloads trucks. o Manually down stacks product and restacks. 

o Uses pallet jack, hand bander, and stretch wrap machine to prepare items for storage. o Ensures scanning accuracy in all aspects of receiving and material handling. o Ensures receiving inspections are being completed and labeled appropriately.

o Serves as backup to Material Handler

o Assists in tagging and storage preparation of products. o Maintains a high level of productivity with little supervision. o Performs tasks safely including wearing safety glasses and gloves as described in JHA requirements. o Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Activity for this position: Essential for job function requires the ability to (with or without reasonable accommodations): o Balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and reaches to work overhead.

 o Walks or stands for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks.

 o Pushes and pulls materials, fingers and grasps parts and components. o Exerts up to fifty pounds of force frequently. o Pays close visual acuity to perform inspections and operate machines. o Tolerates extremes in weather and machine temperature. o Tolerates loud noise.
