Material Sorter - On Call

Twin City Staffing is seeking environmentally conscious and motivated individuals to join our team as on call material sorters. This role is perfect for those who want to play a direct part in local green initiatives by helping divert materials from landfills and supporting sustainability efforts.

Location: Shakopee, MN

Wage: $19.76 – $20.24 per hour

Hours: On-call / As-needed, Monday – Friday

1st Shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
2nd Shift: 3:30 pm – 12:00 am or 12:30 am

Duties of the material sorter - on call:

Sort and separate recyclable materials from waste streams
Monitor materials to ensure quality and compliance
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Assist with facility projects and general upkeep
Work with team members to improve recycling efficiency

Requirements of the material sorter - on call:

Previous outdoor labor or recycling experience is a plus
Comfortable working in dust, noise, and changing weather conditions
Flexible availability for on-call shifts
Authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required)
