CNC Operator and Programmer

Location: Blaine, MN

Wage: $30.00 – $36.00/hr. | DOE

Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Monday – Friday

(Alternative 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday – Thursday available)

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Duties of the CNC operator and programmer:

Repair aluminum and steel cores using CNC lathes
Use conversational software for machine programming
Interpret drawings and blueprints to select tooling
Determine cut positions and optimal speed/feed ratios
Setup and align tooling using precision instruments
Monitor machine functionality and make adjustments
Maintain high focus on quality and precision

Requirements of the CNC operator and programmer:

3+ years of machinist experience
2–3 years of experience with CNC lathes
Strong math skills and blueprint proficiency
Skilled with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Ability to learn conversational programming
Manual machining background is a plus
Welding skills are a valuable asset
