MIG Welder and Fabricator

Twin City Staffing is seeking a skilled MIG welder and fabricator to join a family-owned mechanic shop! This is not a typical factory welding job; we are looking for a true fabricator who enjoys hands-on, varied work in a laid-back environment. Location: Saint Paul, MN

Wage: $25.00 – $32.00/hr. (DOQ)

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday – Friday

Duties of the MIG welder and fabricator:

MIG weld in all positions, including overhead
Fabricate custom products and components
Operate plasma cutters and various power tools
Install truck accessories and components
Assemble parts for hydraulic units
Diagnose repairs and provide fabrication solutions
Maintain a clean and safe shop workstation

Requirements of the MIG welder and fabricator:

2+ years of welding and fabrication experience
Proficiency in MIG welding and plasma cutting
Ability to lift 75 lbs. and stand all shift
Ownership of basic hand tools (socket sets, etc.)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Reliable transportation for a 7:00 AM start
Ability to pass background check
No drug test required
