Router Operator

Job Title: CNC Router Operator
Location: Federal Way, WA
Shift :M-F 7am-4pm

Pay: 22-26/hr

Job Summary:

As a CNC Router Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC routing equipment to cut, drill, and shape aluminum materials according to specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality and ensuring timely production while following safety and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC router machines to fabricate aluminum parts based on engineering drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
Ensure proper alignment and secure materials for precision cutting.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to control speed, feed, and path of cut.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
Conduct quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of CNC router or machining experience (metalworking preferred).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code knowledge a plus).
Proficient in the use of measuring tools and inspection techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
