Job Title: CNC Router Operator
Location: Federal Way, WA
Shift :M-F 7am-4pm
Pay: 22-26/hr
Job Summary:
As a CNC Router Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC routing equipment to cut, drill, and shape aluminum materials according to specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality and ensuring timely production while following safety and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC router machines to fabricate aluminum parts based on engineering drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure materials for precision cutting.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to control speed, feed, and path of cut.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Conduct quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and any issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of CNC router or machining experience (metalworking preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code knowledge a plus).
- Proficient in the use of measuring tools and inspection techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
