Warehouse Associate

We are now hiring for Warehouse Laborers for a Manufacturing company in New Braunfels, TX. Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525.

Pay: $17/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00pm (Rarely will you work until 9:00pm; but MUST be OK with staying until then if needed). Possible Saturdays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:
- Safely load and unload lumber, building materials, and other products from trucks and shipping containers.
- Organize and store lumber products in an orderly and accessible manner, ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and easily identified.
- Move materials around the yard using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
- Ensure lumber and other materials are not damaged during handling or storage.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ensuring the proper stock of materials.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate counts and report discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory audits and assist in cycle counts as directed.
Order Fulfillment:
- Prepare orders by picking, packing, and staging materials for delivery or customer pick-up.
- Ensure all customer orders are correct and complete.
- Assist in loading and unloading customer vehicles when required.
Quality Control:
- Inspect lumber and other materials for defects and damages.
- Ensure materials meet quality standards and specifications.
- Report damaged materials to management.
Safety & Cleanliness:
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, steel-toed boots, and safety vests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including keeping the lumber yard and warehouse free from debris.
- Report safety hazards and maintenance needs to supervisors or management.
