Immediately hiring a Recruiting Assistant for a large Consultant Firm on the northwest (Shavano Park) side of San Antonio. Salary is $56,000-$60,000 ($26-$28/hr.). Shift is in office Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
The Recruiting Assistant will support the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process. This role is responsible for screening candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining records, and supporting recruitment initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
Recruiting Assistant key duties:
- Conduct initial candidate interviews to evaluate qualifications, including education, experience, and job fit.
- Review resumes and screen applicants to ensure alignment with job criteria.
- Source a minimum of 15 qualified candidates per role, with volume adjusted based on position complexity and needs.
- Refer qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate next steps in the selection process.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring cycle, including scheduling interviews and sending status updates.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and employee referrals.
- Support recruitment marketing efforts, such as job fairs, ad campaigns, and job postings on various platforms.
- Administer and manage candidate assessments (e.g., aptitude, personality, and skills tests) as needed.
- Verify candidate work authorization during the interview process.
- Collect professional references and draft recommendations or reference letters when needed.
- Prepare job postings, offer letters, rejection communications, and email templates for recruitment use.
- Assist in creating recruitment materials such as brochures, presentations, and training documents.
- Process recruitment-related invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Recruiter, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence drafting.
- Help develop and maintain recruitment policies, templates, and standard operating procedures.
- Act as a liaison between candidates, internal teams, and external staffing agencies.
- Post weekly updates on LinkedIn and other platforms to enhance the employer brand and increase visibility.
- Coordinate logistics and prepare materials for recruitment events and job fairs.
- Send follow-up emails, rejection letters, and interview confirmations
- Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and update candidate records
