Job Description
A respected healthcare institution in San Antonio is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper sterilization, and assisting during procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of aseptic techniques, and a commitment to patient safety. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting and contribute to a collaborative surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain sterile surgical fields and instruments
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs
Ensure surgical equipment is properly sterilized and functioning
Monitor and track surgical supply counts before, during, and after procedures
Follow infection control protocols and hospital safety standards

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
At least 1 year of operating room experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Proficiency in surgical instrumentation and aseptic techniques

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
