Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Specialist to support documentation and workflow management in engineering, design, and construction-related environments. The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of experience and a working knowledge of civil plan documents and specifications. This role is vital in maintaining the accuracy, accessibility, and compliance of key project documentation. Candidates should thrive in a fast-paced setting, be highly organized, and capable of managing shifting priorities.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and manage document control systems to ensure accurate tracking, storage, and retrieval
• Gather and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to drafting, design, and engineering firms
• Review and organize civil specification and plan documents to ensure clarity and compliance
• Update and maintain project priority lists to support ongoing scheduling and task assignments
• Coordinate the distribution of documents and ensure teams are working with the most current versions
• Support audits and uphold document control policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide timely documentation and updates

Qualifications and Requirements:
• 2–3 years of experience in document control or administrative support, preferably in engineering or construction
• Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• General understanding of civil engineering plans and terminology
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently

Pay Transparency Statement:
The base pay range for this position is $37,440–$52,000 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
