Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team in Solon, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC machinery and manual equipment, including mills, lathes, Swiss machines, and grinders. This role supports the aerospace and flight safety sectors, with a focus on high-precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with a variety of mechanical systems and be eager to contribute to a critical team in the military and commercial aviation industries.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machinery and manual machines
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose malfunctions and determine necessary repairs or replacements
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and records in compliance with company standards
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues quickly
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Familiarity with basic PLC troubleshooting is a plus
- Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
