Job Description
To assist and be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming shipments. Verify that the delivery matches packing slips, check for damages or discrepancies, and ensure all items are properly labeled and stored in the correct location. Update inventory systems, communicate with suppliers or purchasing departments about issues, and help maintain a clean, organized receiving area. Accuracy and attention to detail are key parts of the role
Responsibilities:
- scheduling and documentation of all inbound traffic.
- Prepares records of receipts and shipments including Bills of Lading, Manifests, Advanced Shipping Notices, and receiving documents.
- Maintains yard control of all equipment and status.
- You will verify products; report shortages; damages and overages of our product as well as ticketing.
- Assures adequate supplies are on hand to perform daily activities.
- Physically receive and document receipt of all non-product expense items.
- May move expense items on the dock with a hand truck.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Knowledge of Windows (Word and Excel) Effective oral and written Communication Skills Reviews inbound paperwork for completeness and confirms the availability of ASN’s. notifies appropriate staff of problems, unexpected or improperly documented receipts.
- Ability to create and maintain orderly files and receipt records of all inbound products.
- Ability to “OPEN” containers in the Warehouse Management System.
- Ability to Prepare “over/short/damage” reports and forwards to Corporate Traffic.
- Ability to confirm the closing of outbound loads. Issues and controls numerical sequence of seals/padlocks
- Ability to prepare all shipping-related documentation, including Bills of Lading, Manifests, and ASN”s, as required and files of such.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is S17-$20, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation once hired as permanent employee at our client. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
